Questions
Are the games on TabSpawn really free?
Yes. Every game listed here is free to play in the browser with no account, no download and no payment. The retro emulators are free too, but they contain no games; you supply your own lawful copies.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The games run in a normal browser tab on desktop and, for most titles, on phones and tablets. A recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari is enough.
Why do the games open on other domains?
TabSpawn is the front door; each game is hosted on its own site so it can ship updates and servers independently. All of them are built and run by the same studio, Zooshan.
Where are my scores and saves stored?
In your browser. Jugnu II keeps your firefly name locally and sends only your best score to the shared Top 10. The emulators keep save states and memory cards in browser storage on the device you used, so clearing site data clears them.
What is the difference between the instant games and the lab?
Instant games open and play immediately. The lab holds emulators and streamed consoles: they need your own game files, and the streamed rooms need a hosting key because a real console runs on a server for each room.
Can I play with a friend?
Dusk Duel lets you create a private room and share the link. RetroDeck Live and its PS2 edition give a second player the other controller from an invitation link, with spectators welcome to watch.
