About RetroDeck PS1
RetroDeck PS1 is an online PS1 emulator that runs the open-source PCSX-ReARMed core as WebAssembly, so a PlayStation 1 boots inside a normal browser tab with no download. You choose a disc image in CHD, PBP, ISO, BIN or ZIP form plus the BIOS file from your own console, press start, and the game runs locally on your machine.
Nothing leaves your device. Files are opened in the browser, not uploaded, and the site contains no games, BIOS files or links to them. Memory card data and save states are kept in browser storage, so they survive a reload but disappear if you clear site data.
The keyboard is mapped to the PlayStation pad and a USB or Bluetooth controller works as soon as it is connected. The player guide covers the exact key layout and how to prepare a disc image from a CD you own.
How to play
- Dump a disc you own to CHD, PBP, ISO or BIN, and copy the BIOS from your console.
- Open RetroDeck PS1 and drop the disc image into the Game image box.
- Choose the BIOS file (usually a 512 KB .bin), then start the console.
- Use the keyboard mapping from the guide or plug in a gamepad. Save states live in the browser.

Tips
- CHD images are far smaller than raw BIN files and load faster.
- Export a save state before closing the tab if you plan to clear browser data.
- Firefox and Chromium both work; Safari support for the WebAssembly core is limited.
