About Cosmojar
Cosmojar is a free Suika-style merge game for the browser, the drop-and-merge formula of the watermelon game with planets instead of fruit. A piece of space dust hangs over a glass jar; move it left and right and tap to drop. When two bodies of the same kind touch, they merge into the next one up: dust becomes a pebble, pebble a comet, then the Moon, Mars, Venus, Earth, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter and finally a Sun. Two Suns together go supernova and clear space around them.
The physics is the game. Bodies roll, settle, wobble and squeeze into gaps, so a merge deep in the pile can set off a chain of merges above it. Quick chains build a combo that multiplies the points, and bigger merges are worth more. The jar is lost when a body comes to rest above the dotted line, so the trick is to keep the big planets low and the small ones on top, and to leave yourself a lane.
There are eleven bodies with faces, a next-piece preview, a drop guide, and a best score saved in your browser. Your score goes to the public Top 10 under your TabSpawn player name. It is an original TabSpawn game drawn on a canvas with a starfield behind the jar and synthesised sound, and it works with a finger on a phone or a mouse on a laptop or Chromebook.
How to play
- Move the piece over the jar with your finger or mouse, or with the left and right arrow keys.
- Tap, click or press Space to drop it. The next piece is shown at the top.
- Two of the same body merge when they touch. Aim small bodies at their twins and let the pile do the rest.
- Keep the big ones low. A body that rests above the dotted line for more than a moment ends the game.
- Chain merges quickly for a combo bonus. Two Suns make a supernova worth 250.

Tips
- Drop the small stuff on the small side and the big stuff on the other; a sorted jar merges itself.
- A Saturn or Jupiter wedged in the middle blocks everything. Roll them to a wall by dropping on their shoulder.
- Do not rush: the piece only drops where you let go, and the pile keeps moving for a second after each merge.
